New York-based media and technology executive brings 20+ years of experience scaling international brands to spearhead Crowdfunder's mission to help charity and not for profits hit fundraising objectives.
UK & NEW YORK, NY – March 9, 2026 – Crowdfunder, the UK's leading crowdfunding platform that has raised more than $500 million (£400 million) for charities, social enterprises, and businesses, today announced the appointment of Rebecca Lisica as US President & General Manager. Based in New York, Lisica will oversee Crowdfunder’s US expansion, including partnerships, revenue development, and platform growth nationwide.
New York based Lisica brings extensive experience launching and scaling international brands in the US market. Most recently, she served as Advisor to Raspberry Pi where she quadrupled US revenue and built strategic partnerships to expand the organization's footprint. Previously, she led US launches for Campaign (Haymarket Media) and Qmee, and held senior leadership roles at Zinio, where she managed a $60+ million P&L across 70 countries, and Emap/Bauer Media Group, where she drove innovation and grew revenue for premium media brands.

Rebecca Lisica has worked in the US, UK and Australia
Her track record of restructuring organizations, securing strategic partnerships, and differentiating brands in competitive markets aligns closely with Crowdfunder’s mission to expand access to community-powered fundraising in the US. "Rebecca's proven ability to take innovative UK brands and make them resonate in the American market makes her the perfect fit to lead our US expansion," said Dawn Bebe, Co-CEO of Crowdfunder. "Her experience building revenue, forging strategic partnerships, and creating standout positioning in crowded markets will be invaluable as we bring Crowdfunder's community driven model to US charities and social enterprises. Rebecca understands both the technology and the mission-driven aspects of what we do, and we're thrilled to have her leading this critical phase of our growth."
"The US expansion represents a significant growth milestone to offer American US nonprofits, mission-driven organizations, and communities an alternative to traditional fee-based crowdfunding platforms. I'm delighted to be able to use my skills and experience to help purpose led organisations across the US raise more," said Rebecca.
Lisica holds an Executive MBA from Cambridge University Judge Business School and has served as a board member for Blue School. She is a mentor for Techstars NYC and Bright Ideas Trust.
